Trigger Hot

Pocket Wizard will not trigger flash from hot shoe in Nikon D80?
I have 3 Pocket Wizard Plus II Transceivers. One is in my camera's (Nikon D80) hot shoe, and the other two are in each of my two lights. When I press test on the transceiver in my camera, both lights trigger, but whenever I go to take a picture, my internal flash on the camera still pops up, and whenever I actually press down to take the picture, my lights do not flash. HELP! How do I get my camera to recognize the transceiver that's on the hot shoe so that 1) the internal flash will stop popping up and 2) my lights will flash?!
I probably don't need to tell you that you have to be in manual mode, but just in case - make sure you're in manual (M).
From there, you can turn off the flash by holding down the flash button (the little one with the lightning bolt) and rotating the thumb wheel on the back of the camera until it shows the lightning bolt in a circle with a slash through it on the LCD display by the shutter button. This is all in your manual, pages 40-41.
After you turn off the pop-up flash, just make sure your PW transceiver is sitting all the way in and snug in the hot shoe, and it should fire with no issues.
