Do I need permission to use disney backdrops in my photography company?

I would like to use tinkerbell and the disney fairies as backdrops. Do I need permission?

Absolutely.
Disney are one of the most litigious corporations out there and jealously guard their copyrights.

Using their copyrighted work for commercial work is a definite no no.
