Photogenic Chameleon

Should I get a Female or Male Veiled Chameleon?
My female veiled chameleon, the one that died was extremely tame and really photogenic and quite small and uncolorful (my moms a photographer). If I get 2 they might not become that tame?
My female chameleon, died on December 23, in my arms... and ever since then we wanted to get another one and we are in a week, or so. We got the terrarium thing ready and set. My mom wants to get two but i am scared.... here are my problems:
IF I get 2 females they might fight each other and they will have to lay eggs. (my old female became egg bound and the vet couldn't save her)
IF I get 2 males they might fight and one might eat more food than the other and they can get quite big and maybe too big for the terrarium?
IF I get a male and female they might have babies, even if they are siblings....
What should I get?
Wouldn't 2 females still lay eggs even if theres no male?
Get a male.
They live a lot longer, and they get bigger.
Plus they won't become eggbound and die.
Just get one chameleon, they're not social lizards.
Yeah if you get a female she'll lay eggs, most of the time they get eggbound (try to hold them in because the cubstrate on the bottom isn't good) then they die.
