I would like to know anything and everything there is about 20th century theater.
What were the costumes like? What was the style of acting? What were the sets like? Who were the audiences? What was the actual (physical) theater like? What was the lighting like? What were the stage effects like? What types of plays were most popular and why? Who were major playwrights? What was the interaction/relationship between the audience and the performance? What is the historical and social background in which theater existed in this period? What did theater of this period develp out of or what was it a reaction to or a divergence from What did theater mean and why did it matter to the people of this period? What social or political issues were dealt with in the theater of this period?
Alls I know is they did a show about singing cats.
