Lighting Tent
I want to buy an electrical hook up cable for my tent. Are there lights and heaters available to purchase?
I live in the UK and have a disabled daughter who does not cope very well with our inclement weather. I can only find wind-up or gas appliances.
As a camper for many years (50) we went electric hook up a number of years ago. We have lights that clip onto tent poles (with switches), 2Kw infra red heater that automatically switches off if knocked over, we use a microwave, electric kettle, slow cooker (all lower than normal wattage) toaster etc. You can buy most of the equipment from a decent camping shop, but it is cheaper to look around as many supermarkets have these items on offer Spring/Summer.
