Light Mulit

problem with low beam lights on 97 Suburban?
High beams work fine, day time lights work fine. Replaced mulit function switch (because break lights wouldn't work) and daytime light relay (dlr). Fuses all good. Still no low beams. DLR seams to click in and then right back out when light switch is turned on. The dome lights stopped working from the door switches a long time ago. They do work from dimmer switch. I tracked that problem (I think) to a lighting module that I could never find (manual says under dash, on right side of steering collum). Could these two problems be related? If so what does this module look like and if not what should I look for to fix the low beam problem?
i doubt that they are related what i would do is take the steering collum apart and near the base of your dlr is a small plastic latching mechanism that is probally worn or broke
