what would i need and how would i construct a large photo frame?

hi! i recently purchased a very big poster, and ive put it up on my wall but i think it would look better in a frame.
but because its so big i dont think id be able to find a frame which is the size i need, and if i did find one, i think it would be pretty expensive.

Go to your local building supply store and look at the various moldings & trim. I have made some great frames with 4'' door trim. Then you need a miter saw and cut desired length using 45 degree angle. Use carpenter glue to assemble. You will also need a strap clamp to hold it toether until dry. Good Luck!!!
