Daylight Fluorescent
When Do I use True Actinic and Daylight Compact For My Reef Tank?
I am setting up my 25 Gallon Reef Tank. I have a 24 Inch Deluxe Lunar Series Fixture Compact
The light has
1. One 65 Watt True Actinic 03 Blue compact fluorescent lamp
2. One 65 watt 10,000k Daylight Compact Fluorescent lamp
3. Two 3/4 watt Lunar Blue-Moon-Glow LED lamps
I know I am supposed to run the lights 8-12 Hours a day and leave the blue moon LED lights on at night, but my question is....HOW do I set each light up? Do I run the daylight for 6 hours and then the true actinic for 6 hours totaling 12 hours? thanks for the answers in advance!
Well i think thats correct.. but we need to consider what are the species you are taking care of... are you using live corals? cause their presence requires a more critical timing and amount of lightning. If you are taking care of ordinary salt water fishes your idea of set up is correct.
