My laptop has a blue screen at start up and says that is dumping files to a disk, what do I do?

I did a disk cleanup and ran PC Doctor to check for virus yesterday. When I tried to start up my laptop a blue screen came on and said it was dumping my files to a disk. It also said it could not read the hard drive or write to it. I tried to start in the safe mode but the same thing happened.

Check if you have hard drive problem... Put in your windows xp and go to recovery mode.
